A slightly more elegant nose is otherwise similar to the Puligny villages save for hints of honeysuckle and oak coming in. As one would reasonably expect, there is a bit more concentration and power to the delicious, round and caressing medium-bodied flavors that deliver sneaky good length on the bitter lemon and, somewhat surprisingly, slightly rustic finish that reveals a hint of warmth. This is presently slightly awkward but it should harmonize with a few years of bottle age.
