Truly incomparable and emotionally thrilling. A wine so rated is as good as a wine gets. By definition, it is reference standard for its appellation.
90 – 94
Outstanding. Worth a special effort to purchase and cellar and will provide memorable drinking experiences.
85 – 89
Good to High quality. Wines that offer solid quality in every respect and generally very good typicity. “Good Value” wines will often fall into this category. Worth your attention.
80 – 84
Average quality. The wine may be “correct”, unless noticeable flaws are indicated in the narrative, and provide straightforward, drinking.
76 – 79
Barely Acceptable quality. The wine is not worth your attention nor is it a good value.

All but invisible wood serves as a relatively neutral backdrop for the essence of white peach, pear, hazelnut, spice and soft floral aromas. The medium-bodied flavors also possess a highly seductive mouth feel thanks to the copious level of dry extract that also buffers the moderately firm acidity shaping the caressing and generously proportioned finish. Lovely stuff and this should drink well young if that's your preference.
Patrick, who came to wine late in his career, has made up for lost time and is a very influential wine blogger (degustateurs.pro). As the domaine’s winemaker since 2009, Patrick has taken the house to new heights, producing wines that show great balance; they are concentrated and rich, yet pure and expressive, featuring both the crystalline purity and opulence of Meursault.
Buisson-Charles has holdings among the top vineyards of Meursault, as well as Pommard and Volnay; certain parcels of Meursault vines are more than 100 years old. Patrick believes the terroir, not the winemaking, should determine the taste of the wine, and his creations reflect the essence of their appellations.
